Beginners’ Rocket Workshop

Rocket yoga, as the name might suggest, is a dynamic yoga practice and a derivative of Ashtanga yoga. It comes from the traditional Ashtanga series, but was modified for the west by teacher Larry Schultz. While Schultz was on tour teaching yoga to American rock band "The Grateful Dead," band member, Bob Weir, suggested he name this new yoga style "Rocket, because it gets you there faster" — and it stuck.

Want to try Rocket but not sure if it’s right for you? Rocket is rooted in playfulness and creativity, and this 2-hour workshop is all about finding fun in this practice and empowering yourself as a beginner practitioner.
